SPACE. Building Design & Drafting

From first ideas to build-ready documentation.

SPACE. is a Brisbane building design studio for renovations, extensions and new homes. Whether you’re raising a character home, extending out the back or building new, we design it, document it and coordinate the consultants and approvals needed to get it ready to build.

Our process is simple by design: clear stages, each one agreed with you before the next begins. It’s built for homeowners, whether this is your first project or your fifth.

Our design process

Pre-Design

We understand the site, your brief and the opportunities that will shape the project.

Concept Design

We explore layout, form and spatial relationships to establish a clear design direction.

Design Development

We refine the design, resolving materials, details and how the spaces come together.

Development Application

If required

Where required, we prepare and coordinate the documentation for a Development Application.

Construction Documentation

We translate the approved design into detailed, build-ready documentation.

Consultant Coordination

Where included, we coordinate consultants and approvals to prepare the project for construction, and stay involved until building approval is received.
